The awards are supported by BACR and partner organisations to help fund and develop new research, and are open to BACR members. (Excludes BSc and Masters Students)
The aim of this award is to recognise and reward the achievements of an individual whose work has made significant contributions to translational (Laboratory - clinic) cancer research.
The award consists of a prize of £1,000 and presentation of an oral paper at the BACR 60th Anniversariy Conference with all conference expenses paid.
The Roger Griffin Prize for Cancer Drug Discovery is an annual prize of £1,000 awarded to the PhD student or Post-doctoral Fellow who publishes the best paper on cancer drug discovery as judged by the BACR Executive Committee. They will also have the opportunity to present an oral paper at the BACR 60th Anniversary Meeting with all conference expenses paid.
The aim of this award is to recognise and reward the achievements of a young scientist in the field of Cell Signalling.
The award consiste of a prize of £1,000 and the winner will also have the opportunity to present an oral paper at the BACR 60th Anniversary Meeting with all conference expenses paid.
This new award is open to all BACR student members who are registered for a PhD and have been a BACR member for at least one year. The award winner will be a well-rounded PhD student who can demonstrate success in citizenship, in addition to research achievements.
To recognise and encourage the talents of more junior cancer researchers.
