Cancer Research at Bath (CR@B) is a network linking scientists involved in various aspects of cancer research within the University of Bath and clinicians at the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Foundation Trust. Over the years this forum has led to collaborative interdisciplinary research and has served as a platform to promote awareness of cancer research, expertise and facilities across the Bath region. To date we have had 14 symposia showcasing our collaborative work. We have recently extended collaborative links within the wider region to include our GW4 partner universities and formed a GW4Cancer consortium between Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter.
CR@B is pleased to host its 15th Symposium as a celebratory 50th Anniversary event. This will be a two day international symposium on the 20th to 21st April 2017 highlighting the greatest breakthroughs in cancer research in the last 50 years.
Professor Douglas Hanahan, Director, Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research
Professor Peter Jones, Research Director and Chief Scientific Officer, Van Andel Research Institute
The event is open to our academic and clinical colleagues, students, alumni, funding bodies and strategic partners.
